The spacious accommodation has been designed to be clean and modern but with some traditional ceilings in the main living areas. With ample windows in all rooms you can appreciate the fabulous views and benefit from the south facing aspect. Full central heating open fire upstairs and air con in all bedrooms provides comfort in all seasons. On the lower two floors travertine marble is laid everywhere and there is even marble paving around the pool. The top bedrooms benefit from the comfort of wood floors and traditional shutters on all windows provide shade and security.
On the top floor there are three bedrooms all en-suite and with air con. Bedroom 1 has a king size four poster bed, separate dressing room and large en suite with walk in shower, bath and twin basins. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and an ensuite shower room. There is a large landing with seats for quiet reading leading to a small balcony which gets the morning sun and afternoon shade.
The ground floor is entered by the front door in to the large open hall where there is a desk--in case you have to work--and leading to a cloakroom. From the hall there are doors to the kitchen, lounge and stairs to the lower apartment. The large lounge is furnished with luxury leather seating, an open fireplace and a TV with DVD. The fully equiped kitchen has double oven, dishwasher, microwave, wine cooler and large gas hob and is fully equiped with everything you may need for your gourmet meals!! There is also an extending table for ten . Leading from the kitchen you go on to the extensive raised balcony with a large table ans seating for twelve all benefitting from the fabulous distant views.
The lower ground floor is a fully equiped self contained apartment but linked internally to upstairs. Bedroom 4 is a double bed with doors opening on to the patio and with en suite shower room. Bedroom 5 is a twin room-again with doors opening out to the patio-and is able to use the separate bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet. From these bedrooms you connect to a further lounge with dining area and fully fitted kitchen. This is ideal for two families who at times may want there own privacy but can join together as a group when they wish.
Outside from the lower apartment is a beautifully shaded patio with dining table, chairs and relaxed seating area . To the one side is an outside cooking area with a gas hotplate that is perfect for all kinds of outside catering.The utility room has washing and ironing facility and includes a toilet and shower which can be used from the pool. Whether you take the whole house in the main season or the apartment at quieter time we are sure you will enjoy the comfort and convenience of Casa Collina.
The superb Infinity Pool is mosaic tiled and approximately 12x4 mtrs being one metre deep at the edges and 2mtrs in the centre.Facing south below the main house it captures the sun all day and has superb views from the many sunbeds and chairs. A unique feature cascades water into a lower metre wide pool that is only 30cm deep ideal for young children and babies. There is a solar heated shower The separate playroom has a table tennis table and there are several other games for outside enjoyment. The three terraces provide extra seating areas for escape. The large driveway provides space for several cars.
Provisions We supply all bedding, towels--including pool towels-liquid soap and shampoo,hairdryers. If you stay more than one week we change sheets and towels and offer a small clean. We can also supply cots, baby chair and an extra child bed if required. Our WiFi is unlimited and our price includes everything including cleaning, and all services--beware many charge extra. We also supply a basic welcome pack in case you arrive late.
